Improving the quality of life for all Vaughan residents has been Francesco's priority since day one. By working with all levels of government, residents, and stakeholders, he helped secure over $200 million in federal investments for our community—including a historic $59 million to build more homes, faster through the Housing Accelerator Fund. These investments, along with enhanced federal programs and benefits, are aimed at helping Vaughan residents keep more money in their pockets.

Supporting Small Businesses
Reduced the small business tax rate from 11% to 9%, giving small businesses more financial flexibility and helping them reinvest in growth and job creation.
Lower Credit Card Fees from major providers (Visa and Mastercard), saving small businesses an estimated $1 billion over five years.
Boosted funding and services to help small businesses expand into global markets, including export guarantee programs and advisory support.
Empowering Diverse Entrepreneurs: Launched the Black Entrepreneurship Program (BEP) with $265 million and the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES) with $6 billion to support Black and women entrepreneurs through funding, mentorship, and business development resources.
Federal Programs Making Life More Affordable
A National $10-a-day Child Care Program
Vaughan families are saving up to $15,000 per child on child care fees, with rates now capped at $22/day—making life more affordable and creating 86,000 new spaces across Ontario by 2026.
Access to the Canadian Dental Care Plan
Over 30,000 Vaughan residents and counting are now covered, getting the dental care they need without worrying about the cost. No one should have to choose between their health and making ends meet.
Restoring the retirement age back to 65 from 67, and boosting seniors benefits
Our Liberal team reversed the Conservatives’ plan to delay retirement, putting up to $17,500 back in future retirees’ pockets.
A middle-class income tax cut
Since 2015, middle-class families (couples) in Vaughan-Woodbridge have seen average income tax savings of $5,380.
Making it easy to save for a down payment
Tax-Free First Home Savings Account (FHSA) is helping nearly 1 million Canadians save faster for their first home, with up to $40,000 in tax-free contributions and growth.
